CherryPvP Lobby Update

We have optimized our lobby! It now uses fewer resources, runs more smoothly, and offers new features for our NPCs.

Better Performance
  • A bug that caused hundreds of unnecessary entities to build up after each reload has been fixed.
  • The scoreboard is now updated more efficiently instead of being completely recreated all the time.
  • Crate particles have been optimized to use fewer resources.
  • The lobby now uses around 55% less memory.
  • Less unnecessary lag and a more stable performance.
New NPC Features
  • You can now right-click the lobby NPCs to interact with them — no matter which item you're holding.
  • CherryFFA / CherrySMP / Trainer — Takes you directly to the respective server.
  • CherryUHC — Opens the UHC mode menu with Meetup, SpeedUHC, and UHC.
  • KeyShop — Opens the Key Shop.
  • DAILY — Opens the Daily Rewards menu.
  • Discord / NameMC — Sends you the respective link.

We've improved our website over the past few days! There's a new changelog page, better Discord previews, a cleaner homepage, and faster, more reliable updates.

CherryUHC Update

Several improvements and new features have been added to CherryUHC! The setup has been improved, the WorldBorder is now more reliable, and a new stats system with ELO and ranks has been added.

Setup & Lobby
  • /hg setup: Opens the setup menu in the lobby and during the countdown without resetting the current game state.
  • Scenarios: Can now also be opened and managed in the lobby and during the countdown.
  • Lobby Items: Setup, active scenarios, and teams are now available during the lobby phase.
  • Host Display: The host is now displayed on the scoreboard.
  • Join Protection: Players can no longer join while the map is still being prepared.
WorldBorder
  • Instant Border Shrink: The border now shrinks in fixed steps without slow transitions.
  • Custom Border Timer: The first shrink can be scheduled for 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 35 minutes.
Stats, ELO & Ranks
  • Stats System: Player statistics are now saved.
  • ELO System: Kills give +5 ELO, while deaths cost -5 ELO.
  • Round Results: ELO is also calculated at the end of each round.
  • Ranks: A new ELO ranking system ranging from LT5 to HT1 has been added.
  • Scoreboard: ELO and rank can now be displayed using %elo% and %rank%.
  • /stats: View player statistics using /stats [player].
  • Playtime: Playtime is now tracked automatically.

Coins Update

From now on, you can earn Coins in FFA, Trainer, and CherryUHC! Earn Coins by getting kills, achieving streaks, setting highscores, ranking up, and winning games.

FFA
  • 25 Coins per kill
  • 250 Coins for a 3-kill streak
Trainer
  • 25 Coins per round
  • 250 Coins for setting a highscore
CherryUHC
  • 25 Coins per kill
  • 250 Coins per rank-up
  • 500 Coins per win

Trainer – Performance Update

We have made major optimizations to Trainer to reduce lag and improve server performance!

Changed
  • The Caving scoreboard has been optimized to avoid unnecessary updates.
  • Player data is now saved in the background to reduce server load.
  • Arenas and maps are now built and reset faster.
  • Bots are now detected and processed more efficiently.
  • Background tasks have been optimized to reduce unnecessary calculations.
  • Old game worlds are now deleted in the background to prevent lag when sessions end.
  • World and spawn checks have been optimized to further reduce server load.
Completed
  • All optimizations have been implemented and successfully deployed.
  • The server has been restarted after the update.
