Combos start with a valuable first hit
If the opening hit lands from bad spacing or with no reset support, the follow-up often collapses immediately. Good combo starters usually come from cleaner aim, better movement angle, a sprint reset or simply better neutral timing.
Holding a combo means protecting spacing
Once pressure begins, the key is to keep the opponent in awkward space without overextending. Many players ruin combos by sprinting blindly, strafing too hard or swinging when the line is already gone.
The combo survives when each next hit is prepared by movement and timing, not by hope.
Why players drop their own combos
- They panic and swing while out of range.
- They forget camera discipline and overflick.
- They fail the next sprint reset.
- They move too aggressively and close the space badly.
Use W-Tapping, Aim and Hit Selecting together if you want more reliable combo pressure.
