Strafing should change the opponent's read
The point is not endless left-right spam. The point is to force micro-adjustments from the opponent while staying stable enough to keep your own pressure.
That means your direction changes should still fit the spacing and the hit timing, not happen independently of the trade.
Controlled strafing beats dramatic strafing
Most players lose value by overcommitting. They strafe so hard that they fall out of line with the target or miss the moment where a sprint reset should happen.
If you feel your aim break every time you strafe, simplify the pattern first. Useful movement is readable to you and less readable to the opponent.
